We’re excited to announce that starting on Sunday, May 23, we will return to the sanctuary for in-person worship at 10:00am. We will be wearing masks and keeping social distance, and the pews will be marked to help us sit safely. The doors to the outside will be open during the service, so be sure that you are dressed for comfort.
The service will also be livestreamed on YouTube and Zoom, and available throughout the week on our YouTube channel, so if you are not yet ready to come “in person,” you are welcome to participate as you are able.
Printed worship guides will be placed by each door for you to pick up on the way in, and the hymns will be printed in the worship guide, so you will not need to use a hymnal to follow along.
May 23 is Pentecost (remember to wear red, orange, or yellow), and we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper. After the elements are consecrated, you will be invited to come and pick up bread and juice from the tables at the front of the sanctuary, then return to your seat to partake of them.
We will have offering plates placed by the doors of the sanctuary, but we will not be passing them during the offertory. You are still invited and welcome to use the online giving options.
The service music will be prerecorded and played through our sound system. You are welcome to hum or sing quietly with the hymns as long as your mask is in place.
In a year of new challenges and new experiences, we have learned to be creative and flexible while we are learning what we need to know to take the next steps. I know that the Lord will be with is as we move forward in faith!
